Little Friends relies on the kindness of numerous individuals to carry out our mission of empowering children and adults with special challenges, and their families, to live fulfilling lives in their community. While the agency maintains a diverse funding portfolio, we must raise funds each year to help us cover all our expenses. We rely on your support to help us meet all our mission-related funding objectives to which we are truly grateful. For every $1 raised, we dedicate 90 cents toward our five different programs.

With a donation to Little Friends, you’re helping us provide life-long support to the people we serve, so they can work, learn, and experience the joy of life’s everyday moments. 90 cents of every dollar donated to Little Friends goes directly to services and programs, so we can empower the people we support & their families to lead fulfilling lives.

The need for services for children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities is astounding, and the current demand for these services outstrips the supply. To continue providing the best possible care to the children and adults we serve, we face the need to modernize Little Friends facilities and increase our capital and programmatic capacity to enhance our quality of care.

Many companies encourage their employees to donate to their favorite charities by matching their contributions. That means you can make your donation go even further, with the help of your employer. To find out if your company will match your donation to Little Friends, please contact your Human Resources department.

Below are the steps for making a matching gift:

Obtain a matching gift form from your human resources department.
After you have made your donation, fill in the Employee section of the form and mail to: Little Friends, Inc. Attn: Agency Advancement, 27555 Diehl Road, Warrenville, IL 60555
We will complete the form and return it to your employer’s office for processing. The company will send any additional required paperwork directly to Little Friends.

In addition to direct cash donations, there are many other ways donors can support Little Friends financially. Planned Giving enables donors to make larger gifts to charitable organizations than they could make from ordinary income. Some planned gifts provide life-long income to donor. Other gift plans use estate and tax planning to provide for charity and heirs in ways that maximize the gift and/or minimize its impact on the donor’s estate.
