  Expanded Access to ABLE Accounts for Illinoisans with Disabilities

  The Illinois State Treasurer’s Office has announced an important expansion to the ABLE (Achieving a Better Life Experience) program, making these accounts available to many more Illinoisans with disabilities. Due to a recent change in federal law, an estimated 250,000 additional people across the state are now eligible to open an ABLE account.   Little Friends next Family Support Network event will be held Friday, February 21, from 6-8pm. Representatives from Clancy & Associates, a full-service law firm focused on special needs planning, will share information regarding tools to help protect your child’s future.
