Connecting Adults with Communities
Little Friends is launching the Connecting Adults with Communities (CAC) Program to address the need for supporting neurodiverse young adults in bridging the gap between educational services and post-secondary integrated employment. The program aims to prepare individuals for competitive employment within underrepresented sectors. It is estimated that within the next decade, 500,000 neurodiverse teenagers with autism will become adults, requiring them to meet social norms and join the workforce. Spring Family Respite Session
Our FREE Family Respite Services spring session will be held Wednesday and Thursday evenings, beginning April 10, at our facility on Diehl Rd. in Warrenville. This program offers caregivers time for rest and relief from challenges associated with raising a child with special needs. It is held over multi-week sessions for children aged 3-17 with special needs and their siblings. Find out more and register today!
Family Support Network April Event
We invite all caregivers to our upcoming Family Support Network event on April 12 from 6-8 pm at our Warrenville campus. The evening’s program will allow families to connect with others caring for individuals of the same age to share resources and experiences and learn more about others’ journeys and how we can all support each other! On-site care will be available to enable families to attend the event RSVP here.
Inklude Artists Gallery at Glen Ellyn Library
Bi-monthly, the Glen Ellyn Library features a different artist or group of artists on their Gallery Wall. Through February, artists from Little Friends Inklude Studios have their art on display! Stop by the library’s 2nd floor to see their beautiful work. Some of the artwork on display is also for sale. Little Friends 2024 Annual Benefit Auction
The 47th Annual Little Friends Benefit Auction is an exciting evening of friendship, advocacy, and support to ensure those Little Friends serve, lead fulfilling lives in our community.
